About Me

Designing clarity into complexity — for teams, products, and people

How I Work

I listen before I lead.
Whether I’m leading a project, a team, or a workshop, I stay curious. I want to understand what people actually need — not just what they’re asking for.

I stay close to the work.
I lead like a player-coach. I’m not afraid to get into the Figma file or jump into a tough meeting. But I also know when to step back and help others move forward.

I connect people.
I like building bridges. Between designers and PMs. Between engineering and users. Between the team and leadership. I’ve found that when people talk honestly — with a little guidance — things usually work themselves out.

I keep it calm.
When things get messy or political, I help teams pause, prioritize, and get unstuck. I’ve led in high-pressure moments by slowing things down, focusing on what matters, and getting people aligned before rushing to a solution.

Outside of Work

I go where the music is.
Live music is a big part of my life. I’ve been going to festivals for years — and now I go with my teenage daughters, which is somehow even better. They’ll even pick bands I loved in the early ‘90s. Full circle.

I make playlists for people.
Birthdays, road trips, end-of-year mixes — I’ve always loved curating soundtracks for friends and family. It started with mailing out burned CDs. Now it’s all Spotify, but the thought behind it is the same.

I sweat it out at CorePower.
I bounce between sculpt classes (high heat, high energy) and slow candlelit yoga. It’s a balance I need — especially after long days in front of a screen.

I cook like a designer.
Most nights I use ChatGPT to create dinner from whatever I have in the fridge. It’s fast, flexible, and surprisingly creative. Just like a good design process.
